True Progress brings learning evidence into these conversations and helps teams develop their response. Understanding grows as educators examine what the student can do, what is getting in the way, and what happens when the school makes a change.
Students who need intensive help, those whose needs are less apparent, and those ready for greater challenge all belong in this work. Strong school or district results still leave individual questions to explore.
The Student Success System in your district
True Progress works with leaders, teachers, and specialists to strengthen five connected drivers of student success. Professional learning and coaching help teams apply the system to their curriculum, their students, and their existing ways of working.
Visibility
Visibility brings ELA and math assessment evidence into the school’s wider knowledge of each student. Assessments can reach above and below the assigned grade and show differences across domains, helping educators explore what students know and where further understanding is needed.
The Screener offers a broad view, the Diagnostic examines mastery at a selected level, and the Inventory explores learning across domains and grade levels. Educators decide when another assessment would help resolve a question.

True Progress’s professional learning helps teachers and specialists consider how to respond to what they are learning about students. Teams can examine classroom instruction and additional support together, including whether a change is helping the student participate, learn, and work with growing independence.

Meaningful Data
Educators can follow progress from each student’s starting point alongside grade-level expectations. They bring that evidence together with classroom work, observations, and the student’s experience to examine whether the school’s response is helping.
Patterns across classes, grades, and schools can inform decisions about curriculum, professional learning, and staff time. Leaders and school teams can identify where an approach deserves a closer look and where further support may be needed.
Workflows
Shared routines help schools sustain their attention to students. Teams establish how concerns are explored, who will act, how families and students take part, and when the response will be reviewed.
As students change teachers or schools, transition conversations carry forward what has been learned, including earlier approaches and whether they helped. The receiving team can build on that understanding and continue to develop it.
