True Progress is one Student Success System built around five connected drivers. Schools subscribe to the complete system, including assessment technology, reporting, professional learning, frameworks, resources, and ongoing support.

Implementation begins with Visibility: developing a shared understanding of every student. From that foundation, schools strengthen curriculum, instruction, interpretation of evidence, and the workflows that turn understanding into action.

Schools do not need to purchase the other drivers separately. The Student Success System develops over time around the needs of your students and the priorities of your school.

Frequently asked questions

How do we decide how many student seats to purchase?+
Purchase a seat for each student who will use True Progress during the academic year. There is no minimum number of seats and no minimum annual contract value. Schools may begin with a grade, division, or other group rather than purchasing for the entire school.
What does the annual subscription include?+
The $29-per-student annual subscription includes the complete True Progress Student Success System: Visibility, Focused Curriculum, Instruction, Meaningful Data, and Workflows.

It also includes unlimited True Progress ELA and math assessments, reporting, item- and domain-level evidence, longitudinal progress tracking, professional learning resources, frameworks, webinars, videos, and ongoing guidance and support.
What does the first-year implementation fee cover?+
The standard $2,495 first-year implementation fee establishes Visibility at your school. It includes implementation and workflow design, rostering and SSO setup, faculty preparation, professional learning, working sessions with your student data, shared interpretation practices, and guidance for follow-up. The implementation fee is charged once. For schools with fewer than 100 students, the fee may be reduced or waived.
What forms of payment do you accept?+
Purchase orders, checks, ACH and bank transfers, and major credit cards. Invoicing is net-60.
What is your refund policy?+
If True Progress is not meeting your school's needs within the first 90 days, we will refund all fees in full — the subscription and the implementation fee. No questions asked.
Are all five Student Success System drivers included in the subscription?+
Yes. Your annual subscription includes Visibility, Focused Curriculum, Instruction, Meaningful Data, and Workflows. Implementation begins with Visibility because a shared understanding of students provides the foundation for the other drivers. Schools can then use True Progress professional learning, frameworks, resources, webinars, and ongoing guidance to strengthen the other drivers over time. There is no separate subscription fee for those drivers.
Do you share our students' data with anyone?+
No. True Progress does not share student data with third parties. Your school's data is kept securely and is deleted at the request of your school administrator. Read more in our privacy policy.
What are the technical requirements?+
True Progress runs in any modern browser on Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, and iPads. There is nothing to install. Rostering can be handled directly or through Clever or ClassLink.
